That being said, it takes a lot to impress me, when it comes to recipes. This, however, is the BEST fruit cobbler recipe.

Try it.

Originally, this was called "Apple Crunch" and I think it's one that she and I created together one day (of course, I was about 13 at the time, so most of the creating came from her). I dug it up a couple of weeks ago and tried it out... Yup! It's still as awesome as it was back then.

Fruit Crunch - has now been dubbed "Peach Crack".
That's some good stuff right there, now!
Cut up 6 large apples (or peaches or any fruit that you desire) roughly 4 to 6 cups of cut fruit - heck you can even use canned fruit, if you like.

Mix in a separate bowl:
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon (optional, but great with apples)

Add 1 unbeaten egg and mix it until it turns to crumbles.

Butter a 13 x 9 pan and pour in the fruit - distribute evenly.

Spread the crumbly mixture over the fruit.

Melt 1 stick of butter (or margarine, if you must) and dribble over the top of the contents of the pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes.

Serve warm alone or with ice cream or, even better, some home made whipped cream!
