Vegetable Garden Planning

This was the plan that I drew up (click on it to see a bigger version). Having not planted a garden in several years and back then I only guessed, I thought this was a pretty well thought out garden. I accounted for plenty of room for everything. Which, as it turned out wasn't really all that far off - but cherry tomato plants are not smaller than real tomato plants and tomato plants will grow to about four feet wide and tall or larger.

Note to self: leave more room for tomato plants next time.

Oh, yes, and as it turns out, potatoes, parsnips and carrots are actually fall plantings in Florida, so this layout changed by the time it was planted.
