It's been a while

I know, it's been a while since I posted anything on here. Life has been pretty hectic and everything on the homestead preparation has basically stopped, temporarily. Fortunately, since we hadn't gotten any animals yet, this was still possible - after animals arrive we would be locked in to caring for them and doing what needs to be done, so no "luxury" of taking days off when life hits us hard.

I've been writing a little, on some of the other sites and since we didn't get to prepare the garden yet, I figured the least I could do was write a couple of articles on "how to" for the Florida area:

Time is running out for planting a spring Florida vegetable garden

The best tomato varieties for growing in Central Florida

Where can I get free recycled mulch in Pinellas County Florida

The best pepper plants to grow in Florida in gardens and in containers

So, if you get a chance and want to start planning your spring garden, take a gander at some of these titles.

As far as our project, here in our own homestead, we should be getting things back in order soon. We may not be in time to plant an entire spring garden, but we'll have plenty of things to do and explore around here so stay tuned.
